WHY NOW?
We are at an inflection point socially and economically. COVID-19 shut down an estimated 3.3 million businesses. Businesses with underserved founders were hit especially hard. We saw a 41% drop in the number of Black-owned businesses, and a 32% decrease in the number of Latinx-owned businesses. Now, more than ever, there is a need for a level playing field that puts diversity and inclusion at the forefront.
